The WS series of motors comes with both air-cooled and water-cooled options. The WS pump requires less maintenance because it does not have shaft seal rings.RUVAC roots pumps are highly efficient in increasing pumping speed at low pressures, which helps to extend the operational pressure range of fore-vacuum pumps. These pumps come in three different series, each with different motor drivers. The RUVAC WA series uses standard flange-mounted and air-cooled three-phase motors. On the other hand, the RUVAC WS series uses canned (rotor) motors that are available in water-cooled or air-cooled variants. All three series come in different sizes, providing an ideal pumping speed for every application. Additionally, each series is offered with or without a bypass valve (sometimes called a pressure compensation valve).
Applications
- For applications that require a high pumping speed at pressures between 10-2 and 10-4 mbar (0.75 x 10-2 and 0.75 x 10-4 Torr)
- Used where contamination due to air ingress or pumped media leakage must be avoided.
- Suction or pumping of high-purity gases.
- It is used in clean rooms where the motor‘s fan must not recirculate the air.
