Product Description
RUVAC WH : SKU – 127700V15 – RUVAC WHU 7000
RUVAC WHU pumps are lubricated with synthetic oil or perfluorinated polyether (PFPE), but RUVAC WHU PFPE pumps must be used for oxygen concentrations above atmospheric levels. RUVAC WH/WHU 2500 pumps gas vertically, while the RUVAC WH/WHU 4400 and 7000 can pump gas horizontally or vertically. Roots pumps do not have sealants or lubricants inside the pumping chamber, but synthetic oil or PFPE is used to grease the two gearwheels of the synchromesh gears and the bearings. The impeller seals keep the two bearing chambers separate from the pumping chamber. A water-cooled, hermetically sealed motor powers the RUVACs, which are sealed against the atmosphere and operate only in a vacuum, so a shaft feedthrough to the atmosphere is not required. When using the standard motors, the RUVAC WH/WHU 4400/7000 can operate on a 50 Hz or 60 Hz power supply or with the appropriate frequency converter. The RUVAC WH/WHU 2500 has motors that run on either an internal or external frequency converter or a 50 Hz or 60 Hz power supply.
