Ester oils are organic compounds with higher thermal resistance to breaking than mineral oils. Their chemical resistance varies depending on the type of ester oil, but generally, it is quite good. However, their elastomer compatibility and resistance to hydrolysis are better than mineral oil. Using them when pumping acids, halogens, or alkaline media such as ammonia in relation to humidity is not recommended.
